Amalfi paper envelope 16 x 23 cm.

This model of envelope in Amalfi paper is made exclusively in ivory color and is the largest format to date produced in the paper mill. It is used to hold inside the A4 “Amalfi” participation folded in two parts or letter sheets of the same format.

The envelopes shown here are sold individually. They can be purchased with matching sheets in elegant gift packs.

Amalfi paper is made by taking care of each sheet individually, these envelopes are no exception and are produced and folded by hand one at a time respecting the teachings handed down over time by the papermakers of Amalfi.

The sides of each envelope have the characteristic frayed edges of this precious paper, including the closing flap which is pre-glued and on which it is possible to read the name of the town of Amalfi in a delicate Italic cursive. This guarantees its originality.

The watermark is visible against the light and does not cause any disturbance in the process of writing or printing.

Thanks to their conformation and their characteristics, these envelopes are easy to seal with sealing wax.

The paper with which these envelopes are made is suitable for use with laser or ink-jet printers but they lend themselves equally well to handwriting and decoration with watercolors.
