The artist, in this painting, tries to capture through the use of chromaticity the feelings of absolute tranquility of the man intent on his daily fishing in the waters of the Amalfi coast.

Thanks to the play of light created, whoever looks at this work is immediately transported to the transparent waters of the coastal town, bringing to mind the scent of the sea breeze.
